Feeding your arowanas video …
Hi all,
Before I start, just want to wish you and all at home a Great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Before you know it, another year has come and gone! Sigh! Sorry.. sign of me getting old! Have definitely mellowed down over the years! ![]()
Don't mind me!… Go out and have a great Xmas and New Years party ya! Enjoy and be merry!
Anyway have just recorded a video on feeding arowanas in the farm. Hope you like it.
Since we're on the subject of feeding arowanas, I just wanted to add that if you are looking to feed your arowanas feeder fish, do buy them in the morning as the feeder fishes are still very much alive and active. No rocket science here but when you do buy them in the later part of the day, these are usually the left overs from the day and more often than not, most of them will die when you bring them home. I have encountered many times (in my earlier days) that I had to scoop out the dead fishes the next day. Now what I do is every few days, I will buy a big pack in the morning and put them all in my pond. Everyday, I will scoop some out and feed my arowanas in the evening.
My 5 arowanas are doing well. They eat feeder fish and market prawns. Have not tried pellets though but this is because I have an overflow system and all the pellets will flow out of my tank in no time which is a pain! They are still fighting amongst themselves but hopefully overtime, it will decrease! (I hope!) But to be frank, this could be wishful thinking as usually there will be a dominant few in there who will boss and bully the rest! So like us right?
Ok guys and gals, again just want to wish everyone a great holiday and stay cool!

Steven,
hi. I like the way you feed the arowana fish-by-fish. Keeps them on the edge & watching your video 'the dragon predate' is like watching national geographic's best videos..
Cheers..merry xmas & happy new year… Pankaj Dayal.
