Thank you very much Steven for sharing this wonderful event about arowanas. I love the winners in all cathegories.
Once you come back from your oversea assignment I will have some questions about my own arowanas, three dynamic reds.
More arowana power to you, again, thank you!
Thony
Hey thanks for capturing such a super event.I liked all the winners especially the large category.I have 2 ft size silver arowana.
Hi Steven,
Thanks so much for the videos. Real Beauties indeed. Makes me love my RTG and RED aros even more after viewing…. though the both side of the gills had flipped over. Anyway, they still look beautiful to me. Cheers for the Winners…
nice pic, wish i could go there 2 haf a look at those beauties..:(
hi steven. very very nice fish. i am very sorry to ask you here but this is very important right now.
tell me just how bad is it to on purpose kill an arowana considering it is a CITES appendix 1 fish? i imagine very bad…do you know the penalites and if governments somehow have any immunity or are actually fully bound to the laws they signed up to? lets hypothectically assume a government quarranine agency captured and killed a few dozen taged fish.. is this highly illegal? does this ever happen?
Thanks steven for late me see the beautiful video arowana i like it very much. Wish i could go they and see it!!!. I just buy a few month red arowana and i not sure how to take care because this is my first fish. For my fish tank i used 48"x24"x24". Normaly for the lighting what kind should i used at the moment i used ping light. Sometime is hard because a lot of opinion from other people, dont no which want to here.

thanks Steve for those aro .they all look beautiful.that make me feel sad about mine fish ,have a wonderful holiday.
Must confess that I'm somewhat still heartbroken when both of my 20in RTG's were stolen when my house was burglarized sometime in Oct last year. It took me 2 years of TLC(TENDER LOVIN'CARE} to bring them home @ 6in from the aquarium where I bought them(certified by the farm – I still have the certs with me).
Sorry for digressing; I've really enjoyed the videos that you've painstakingly put in your blog & I must again congratulate you for showing all of the hobbyists that indulge in this undertaking that it is indeed most satisfying and rewarding.
Cheers an' Keep on truckin'!!!!!
Thanks Steven,
These videos are fantastic, it really does make us arowana pet owners admire even more on these beautiful ancient creatures.
But i must say, how does albino arowana came about? That's really interesting, i haven;t seen one myself. Wouldn;t mind taking a glimps at it sometime.
Great work, play hard and keep going mate!
Ausarow,
When an animal specimen is put under CITES, what it means is that it is illegal to catch/buy/sell them in the wild. If they are bred by farms and you accidentally killed some, I don't think there are any repercussions.
Steven
Leonie,
I would encourage you to purchase my arowana care ebook as it will tell you all you need to know about arowana care. You can either get it from http://www.arowana-care.com/arocare or http://www.aroaquaticworld.com . All the best.
Steven
Ragini,
A mixture of live food and non-live ones like market prawn would be good.
Steven
Dzuhri,
Please check the internet and you should be able to find the farms in Singapore.
Steven
Kenny,
Don't think we can breed them even if we wanted to. Cheers!
Albino arowanas are freaks of nature.
Steven
I have a question .Im about to get asn arowana and im going to put it in a 55 gallon aquarium. Is that a good idea?
Jack,
If I'm not wrong, a 55 gallon tank is about 48 1/4 x12 3/4 x21. I think the width of 12 3/4" is too small. You need a bigger tank.
Steven
henry 1st arowana it so good best fish
