  • Our farm just harvested a new batch of RTG fry - 31 babies altogether

    Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share with you pictures of RTGs (Red Tail Golden) that we harvested 3 days ago..  We are always excited when we have new harvest as every harvest means that our arowanas are productive.  It is very exciting especially if you are able to see the actual harveting being done.  I will try and record an actual video of this soon to share with all of you.

Someone ask me before at what age we sell the arowana youngsters.  At this young age where the egg yolk is still attached, we definitely cannot sell them.  We will have to wait until the yolk disappears and they start to eat.  (Usually baby guppies, etc) When they reach this stage the mortality rate drops tremendously.  You can only sell them after a tag has been inserted into their body and this is usually only done when they are about 7-8 inch long.
    Cheers! (…)

  • More ponds being dug up for new arowana farm

Just a short update on the farm itself… Slowly but surely the ponds are being dug up as per our specs.  Have about 6 ponds done and many more to go!  :-)  It is a slow process but we need to ensure that all the piping and drainage are done properly..

Taken from the front (where the offices are going to be) and as can be seen, the cranes are hard at work digging the ponds.

The sides of the ponds are being 'firmed' up in one of the ponds dug up. (…)

  • Arowana Farm Update

    Hi all,
Just wanted to welcome everyone to my arowana site.  I will be sharing quite a bit of information with all of you.  I am in the midst of some pretty exciting stuff.  As some of you know, I am part owner of an arowana farm in Singapore called Pang Long Arowanas.  The farm is now being build on Neow Tiew Road near the Kranji area and I will be sharing with you the progress of the construction.  The site will probably be completed late this year and I am pretty excited about it..  Here is a picture of one of the ponds that is being build…
