- Great News for Arowana Breeders if this research succeeds!
There was an interesting article on the 1st November 2006 which talked about a research being conducted now on arowana breeding in Singapore. Until today, no one really knows why is it so hard to breed arowanas. If we could just get a glimpse into the biology of the arowana, maybe we could get an answer. Anyway this is the whole gist of the research conducted. Can't wait to see if it will bear any new insights! :-)

- Our Farm's arowanas win top prizes in GuangZhou, China!!
Hi all,
Just to share with you all. Our farm's arowanas won some coveted prizes in the Ornamental Fish Exhibition in GuangZhou (Aquaria 2006) held from the 7-10 Sept 2006. Our fishes won 4 prizes, 3 in the Golden Crossback category and 1 in the Red category. Cool stuff. There were quite a few exhibitors from Singapore and Malaysia…
Must say that this exhibition was not as big as I expected but big enough. There is another big ornamental fish show in Beijing in October but I think the one that we are all waiting for will be the bi-annual one in Singapore called Aquarama which will be held next year! Anyway… I'm proud of the quality of our fishes! (…)
